Emergency and Risk Communication Training

CDC's Office of Communication is offering Emergency Risk Communication Training for appropriate public health workers and communicators both inside and outside the government.
Goals
- To disseminate training curricula and tools that will help public health communication professionals effectively prepare for and respond to public health emergencies.
- To introduce public health officials, both inside and outside CDC, to the crisis and emergency risk training curricula and tools developed by the CDC Office of Communication.
- To train communicators, both inside and outside CDC, to subsequently train public health professionals in how to systematically plan, develop, implement, and evaluate crisis and emergency risk communication activities.
Scheduling
There are currently no trainings scheduled at CDC. If you are interested in the CERC training, please contact one of the Certified Trainers listed below. Each of these individuals are certified to offer the training and may be able to provide you with information about upcoming trainings in your region.
