CDC Hurricane Health and Safety Tips

How to Receive the Weekly Tips by Email or Mobile Phone Text Message

Print or refer to these instructions as you add subscriptions.

  1. Create a New Account or Login to modify your preferences and add subscriptions.
  2. Under Primary Email Address, enter your regular email address. Do NOT select the Wireless Alerts checkbox for this email address.
  3. Under Optional Secondary Email Address add your cell phone or mobile device’s email address.
    Don't Know Your Phone's Email Address? Select the Wireless Alerts preferred checkbox for your Optional Secondary Email Address ONLY and save your changes.
  4. You will then be directed to the Subscription Page. Items that support Wireless Messages are designated with a Wireless Alerts symbol. Check the box next to your topics of interest and save your changes.
