Clinical Reminder: Mold and CO Poisoning
Now that cooler weather is here, talk to your patients about HVAC safety and having their HVAC system inspected. Mold is not just an issue in hurricane-affected areas - any unused HVAC system can breed mold and mildew in the off season.
CO poisoning is a danger as well - poor ventilation and faulty exhaust can prove to be deadly.
Please see the following CDC information and consider printing it out for your patients.
