Introduction and Objectives

This lesson is designed to brief veterinarians on the public health issues of animals in dealing with plague bioterrorism. At the end of this lesson you should be able to:

  • Describe the symptoms of plague in animals.
  • Describe the public health significance of plague in animals.
  • List the medication options available for treating plague in a controlled situation.
